Yes, we’re excited to be back to an all in-person festival this year after our hybrid event in 2023.
Film Fest Tucson is designed to bring a variety of new films to our audiences, and in order to bring the maximum number of films that we can fit in our venues, we do to have films playing at the same time. We do our best to make sure we think about what might compete, but making choices is part of the experience. And it gives you something to look forward to. We try to let people know on our social channels when titles from our schedule get released in theaters or on streaming services, so you can catch anything you’ve missed.
Yes, Film Fest Tucson is a program of Stratford Art Works, Inc, a 25-year-old Arizona non-profit organization. All revenue from Film Fest Tucson goes directly into putting on the festival. We are an all-volunteer festival with no paid staff. We’re happy to accept any contributions as it takes much more than ticket sales to put on the festival each year. Please help us continue to produce Film Fest Tucson in the future by visiting our website at filmfesttucson.org.
We do! We try to put on other screenings throughout the year with recent examples being an off-season screening of the remarkable documentary “Exposing Muybridge” at the UA’s Center for Creative Photography in May of 2022. Check our social channels for events as they happen at other times during the year.
Film Fest Tucson is a destination film festival, a place for filmmakers and audiences to meet, discover and experience unique and important stories told on film.
